Facebook. It comes up everywhere, but what actually is it? Whether you are just looking to keep in touch with friends or run a business, Facebook might be the answer. Here, I will explain what Facebook is, and why it is useful to you.
Facebook is a free Social Media Platform. With Facebook, you can create a personal profile, where you can add information about yourself, post status updates, photos or videos and add other users as “Friends”. You can also use Facebook’s “Messenger” application, which allows you to privately instant message with your Facebook Friends away from your timeline.
You can also effectively use Facebook for your business. Let me start by saying if you want to create a business page, you need to have a personal page first. You can create your free business page through your personal page, where you can add business information such as your address, website or opening hours. You can also include images like you can on a personal profile, such as having a business profile photo, where you can include your logo or an image of your business.
You can invite your Friends from your personal profile to “Like” your business page, so they will be able to see what you post and your business information. When someone “Likes” your business page, they will be able to leave comments, reviews and ratings.
On your Facebook business page, you can add different Call to Action buttons, such as “Contact Us” or “Sign Up”. This allows users to interact more with your business without leaving Facebook.
In my opinion, I believe that if you are running a business, having a Facebook page is very important. It allows people to find out about your business in such a quick and easy way, and there is so much information they can find just by a few clicks.
Facebook is an excellent tool to keep up to date with what is going on with your friends and family, whether that is on a personal or business level.
