How To Create A Business Page On Facebook
Creating a business page on Facebook is an excellent way to increase traffic to your website, either through your website or directly from Facebook.
To create your business Facebook page, go to www.facebook.com and log into your personal account. If you do not have a personal account, on the Facebook home page, there is a Sign Up form where you can create an account. Once you are logged in, on the top right hand side of the page, there is a notification panel where there is a downward arrow. Click on this and then click “Create a Page”.
From here, you will be taken to another screen, where you can select a Page type – whether that is a Local Business, Brand or Product, or a Cause or Community.
Once you have chosen what type of page you want, you will have to fill out some basic information on your business, such as it’s name, address and telephone number. This is a handy thing to have on your Facebook page as it will let potential customers know where you are and how to contact you.
This will then take you to another page, where you can add in some more information about your business, however if you want to, you can skip these steps. I would, however, recommend taking the time to fill out this information, because once it’s done, you will know that whoever looks at your page will be able to find out as much as possible about your business.
